The biggest challenge was making complex ERP systems mobile-friendly without compromising functionality. Traditional ERP platforms are often difficult to use, heavily desktop-focused, and lack real-time accessibility. ZStar needed to offer a simplified, intuitive experience while still supporting advanced ERP features like reporting, task execution, and secure data access. Ensuring performance, scalability, and data security were also key priorities.
Solution
We developed ZStar using Flutter for a seamless cross-platform experience across iOS and Android. The app was integrated with existing ERP systems via RESTful APIs, enabling real-time synchronization of business data. Firebase/Cloud Firestore provided scalable backend support with secure authentication and cloud storage. By focusing on clean UI/UX design and optimized workflows, we ensured the app remained intuitive while still supporting complex ERP operations. State management with Provider/GetX helped maintain smooth performance and reliability.
